oh y, man the memories, i remember eating those when i was just a wee little boy
it took me a second to realise you didnāt mean eating Halo thenā¦
Reach should be an improvement, but I feel like Halo 3 hit its balance perfectly. I always felt like Class implementation was a bit cumbersome, and greatly prefer the way 3 handled abilities (one-time deployable items, many of which span all the way back to Halo 1 in concept). Reach was a great game, no doubt, but 3 feels like the absolute peak. After the add-ons, itās unstoppable.
Not to mention, Reach ran like trash. Playing Firefight mode especially feels like a chore today with the countless 10 FPS dips, compared to 3 (a game that I donāt remember dropping frames in once).
well donāt play it on PC then xD I had an xbox then and no PC so didnāt even know that was a thing, and just to make it worse I HATED those single use disposable items, and glad they were mostly gone. Class based combat was just a switch they wanted and I think it gave me as a player more opportunities to know what Iām fighting against, in halo 3 they could have anything, in reach they can only be this class or that class, and the forge was better xD it doesnāt matter 'cause they fucked it up years to come. whoo destiny amirite wow sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good (!)
@kylehayman361 Uhā¦ since when did Reach have a PC port? Are we talking about the same thing? If what youāre saying is true, I would like all details forwarded to me at your earliest convenience. Uhā¦ for scientific purposes.
I didnāt say the class system was necessarily bad, and I loved the Elites v Spartans division they brought with Reach. Itās just one of those cases where I mildly prefer one over the other for the slightest of reasons.
I also just like Halo 3ās armor designs and general map design better, not to mention its story. Halo Reach was good, but at the same time, Halo 3 is just that 10/10 conclusion that managed to land every hit squarely without any missteps. It holds up perfectly. There isnāt a single part of Halo 3 that I donāt love. Itās the only one that I even tolerated on Legendary difficulty, even if only for a sick multiplayer armor set.
Also, donāt be too hard on Destiny. It isnāt the worst game out there, and by Activision meddling standards, itās pretty high in quality. Weāre talking about a game series that had its founding titleās storyline rejected less than a year before the game shipped, prompting a complete rewrite and several long-time Bungie veteran resignation letters. Destiny 2 is still a good game despite its massive post-launch missteps, and Bungie may be capable of great things once theyāre free of ActiBlizzardās all-controlling and money-grabbing influence.
Case in point: Spongebob, of all things.
The good olā THQ days:
The Activision dark age:
Iām just answering quickly guess I didnāt read it properly haha Iām not really set up to have a full blown paragraph shit haha.
I didnāt have any issues online or offline with reach so I dunno what you mean, but it was MANY years ago so maybe I just donāt remember it, it was one of my first online multiplayer games.
I liked the story in every halo, reach was great for its story really, halo 3 was boring because I hadnāt played 2 or 1 and didnāt understand what was going on, but I did for reach because itās set before 1.
First of all, Chronoā¦ needs to shut up.
Make me, nerd.
Anyway, @kylehayman361ā¦
I was just wondering why you mentioned PC. You just made me really excited all of the sudden, as if Halo Reach on PC existed. Alas, Xbox 360 and One only.
Before Halo 4, I hadnāt had any real issues with Halo, scratched disc for 3 aside. Itās just a matter of preference, and in terms of gameplay, I felt way more inclined to play 3. You clearly disagree and prefer the way Reach handled combat, and thatās fine. I just really loved a lot of the things 3 had that Reach didnāt, from the deployable gadgets, to the Brute weapons, to the Brute vehicles, toā¦ well, the gear in general. I didnāt like the prequel gear. It was fine and all, but just couldnāt match the weird and wonderful assortment of guns that Halo 3 had. You just canāt compete with the four grenade types, spikers, maulers, choppers, rocket pods, spectres, and everything else that Halo 3 threw at you in droves.
Either way, I was more focused on your Destiny response, and why a lot of the nonsense surrounding Destiny strikes me as a bit unfair. Anyone fails under Activision. This has been well known for years. Even Platinum put out some crappy games under them, the same team that made a spinoff of Metal Gear better than half of the main series in less than a year. Was it necessary to prove my point using Spongebob? No, but I wanted to.
I merely mentioned PC because I had the 360 version and had no memory of lag or framerate issues, thus leaving aPC port as the only option xD
and dude, I just really donāt like destiny, not who made it, I just hate it, itās boring, feels just like borderlands, which is boring. Itās nothing to do with the game I only played the demo for 1.
itās like 2AM here youāll have to wait for a response tomorrow or message me about it, I always want to talk, anyone can message me anytime I will respond when I can. my tired mind alters and distorts what I put in text format for everyone to see, and when I wake up people cal me a hypocrite for long paragraphs like these, I donāt like doing them in the day cause they feel like a leture xD
(damn I typed that pretty fast for 2AM)
I canāt even read what you put the tet is blurring sorry mang
I completely understand what you mean about Destiny. Itās just that I see a lot of people jumping on the Warframe bandwagon (years late, I must add) just because Jim Sterling and countless others did. The fact that Iām calling praise for Warframe disingenuous says a lot about my sheer confusion with some of the ways online bandwagons act. Maybe Iām just out of touch. [adjusts fedora]
Anyway, you just kinda reminded me of that whole thing and invoked my textwally wrath. Nothing personal, I promise!
This is also a forum, so a message 10 hours after mine and seconds after makes no difference to me. It was cool talking to you, but in the words of Hulk Hoganā¦
Iām glad you thought so, thanks xD

Maybe the real question is why would we push that sense of fashion onto other people. There are women out there cutting off their pinkies in order to fit into Stilettos.
They do it because thatās what fashion demands of them. Your question is sincerely not that hard to answer, especially when youāre a woman.
Eighty-seven percent of women have had foot problems from wearing uncomfortable or ill-fitting shoes such as high heels, according to the American Podiatric Medical Association.
Deming used to love wearing heels and sandals, until it became too painful for her to wear them for more than a few minutes.
āI was having calluses, and just, all sorts of problems with my left foot. And there finally was a solution. Thereās never been a solution before,ā said Deming.
A few toes on her left foot were longer than the others, making that foot an entire size larger than her right foot. The solution: A surgical procedure cutting off about a centimeter of her second toe.
Now, with a shorter toe, Deming said she canāt wait to go shoe shopping.
āIāve never felt this good about something Iāve done,ā she added. āIf itās vain, itās vain.ā
