The game is only 1.5 hours long or so, and I felt that I was stuck on a couple of puzzles for a decent amount of time. So it’s a casual and quick game for people interested. Definitely worth checking out! (Especially if you have access to the Humble Trove!)
So…Monster Hunter Rise comes out on the 26th and Story of Seasons comes out today (or already did). Then on the 31st we get the Kingdom Hearts collection.
This is a pretty dang crazy month!
A new game called outriders is coming out in a few days.
It looks very interesting. I am keeping an eye on it to see the reviews. I have nothing against the game, but pre-ordering…
First of April is such a poorly considered release date. They really couldn’t have put it out one day earlier?
Honestly, I didn’t realize it.
I checked again and everything still looks official. Or I am being deceived very well.
There is a demo for Outriders, i also belive progression carries on to the full game. Personally i did not like it, the gunplay is good, but the cover system felt awkward to me.
Part hidden object, part Stardew Valley sosial interaction, with real-time day progression aka Animal Crossing? Bought it, not played it yet.
Found another couple of games on steam:
Before your eyes; seems like a narrative game, but it’s controlled by eye-tracking.
Mail Mole; looks cute and Mario-ish.
I have mentioned this game before. @K16 gifted me this.

Got some new news in my Steam Feed. Still in EA. Price is going up and they are adding MORE stuff again. Just the sounds alone bring back memories of going to the fair and playing the games plus the arcades…
"When the coin game was released in Feb 2019 it featured about a dozen games in one location. Now two years later the game features 3 full arcades, over 50 games and ticket machines, 15 unique locations with multiple money earning jobs. Along with a multiplayer planned for the future.
So my wife and I thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for giving us the ability to build this title for you. I read all of the comments, suggestions and discussions and seeing some of the folks enjoying the nostalgia and environment of a small town really makes the feels flow. :)"
This is a game that was released on Xbox 360/PS3 back on 2011. Never had a PC version, but that’ll change soon:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1581040/El_Shaddai_ASCENSION_OF_THE_METATRON/
Is such equipment all right? That’s ok. No problem “3D jump action” “3D battle” “2D action” “2D battle” Experience a game in which the elements that are the origin of the fun of these four action games are mixed in a well-balanced manner!
I hope the game is better translated than the store description. The whole store page smells of machine translation.
The game was already translated for the console back on 2011, and this being a port for pc, there shouldn’t be anything to do in that regard.
If anything, I would be worried about the quality of the port.
Only 4 types of buttons are used: attack, jump, defense, and weapon stealing.
+
Notice: El Shaddai ASCENSION OF THE METATRON requires a controller in order to play. Playing with a keyboard and mouse isn’t supported.
All those buttons, to much to handle.
The first selling point of the game:
“A game packed with the origins of the fun of action” created by combining the latest technologies of 2011
Can you handle the future?
All in all, this looks quite…
yea, I know it’s one of God’s names - which is equally fitting
Now, all jokes aside, I’ve checked the dev’s/publisher’s - crim Inc. - website - crim.amebaownd.com - and I’m sure it’s gonna be…
crim de la crim xD
…or, the company is actually “ameba ownd”, and the console to PC code translation will be very Engrish.
Some shines…
@Danacscott, @Enki, @eishiya @YQMaoski
@delenn13 Thank you! I love you too, hee hee
Edit: Both were on my wishlist already, XD, but you know meesh well.
It’s only once in a very, very long while that such a creation appears. Almost twenty-five years have passed since The Neverhood was released. Twenty-five years waiting for a masterpiece like it.
The entire game world - the environments, the sets and the characters are crafted, lit and animated in real world, and only then captured and transferred into the game.
It took over three tons of clay to create The Neverhood, and for the paper world of Papetura - well, you can see for yourself, as the process of its creation has been documented over the years on the game’s facebook and twitter pages. It’s truly wonderful and fascinating.
Plus, the characters are fabulously expressive, and Tura is a black kitty sprite <3
I’m betting the game’s name - Papetura, and the names of the tiny creatures you lead through its adventure come from Pepakura - the name of a software used for designing Japanese-style paper models. (otherwise completely unrelated, as the techniques the author uses are a blend of European structural design and freehand art)
It’s a project that begun over seven years ago, created by a single-man studio - a life’s work of a young developer.
My fear is that - just like The Neverhood - it might become an artistic success and a commercial failure, which would be awfully sad…
So please check it out, especially if you’re a fan of traditional arts and crafts.
Adding @sewcraftyme, as I know she’s into the crafty.
