I know it might not be possible to implement, but…
I have money in that; why not have the ability to purchase Steam Keys from the Daily Deals using that?

Because the steam wallet is steam store credit, essentially a gift card. If you wanted steam to allow others to use it then first of all you’d have to ask steam to make changes, not chrono.
What you’re doing here is essentially the same as asking Barnes & noble to take amazon giftcards. It’s not up to them even if they wanted to.

Yeah from what I know I don’t think steam allow that. Once the money is in their ecosystem they don’t allow it back out which is similar to as @Fraggles said a gift card.
