They finally got me with this BS subscription trap. I forgot to unsubb this month and paid the full $12 for a bundle I didn’t want.
Well ring of pain and Katana Zero are titles I am interested in, so it’s not a complete waste, but I knew this would happen some day.

I think i had same thing happen to me once but they were nice enough to refund me that month But that was before IGN so i’m not sure if that would work right now.

I don’t know how good they are since I don’t use any subscription services, but I’ve definitely heard of apps that manage subscriptions of the box-in-the-mail sort, effectively letting you treat the services as single purchases (presumably by means of the app taking care of subscribing, ordering, and canceling the subscription for you). Maybe something like that exists here? I don’t use HB as a service either, so I could easily be ignorant of complicating factors.

I paused this months the day the bundle came out (October 2021 for you people from the future). I don’t have Katana Zero on Steam but I’ve played it on Games Pass (It ‘left GAME PASS on Oct 16, 2021’). I have a couple from the rest in my Steam account. The rest were very meh to me.

A bunch of indie games. Is any worth playing? Wingman seems to be the a diamond among them as it has 92% positive reviews.

Wrath: Aeon of Ruin is the only game from this month that I’m really interested, though Turnip Boy does look like something I’d enjoy as well. Even so, I don’t think just those two games would make me want to sub this month.
If anyone happens to have a spare of Wrath: Aeon of Ruin, I’d be willing to trade for it.

According to a poster on reddit:
On their stream they just said the reason for only 10 was because they see this group of games as being better quality games overall.
Plus humble choice was always billed at AT LEAST 10 games so they haven’t strayed from that even though it did become the norm to have 12, but if this is what they think of being better quality overall I’m not really impressed.
