I really… really hope that dying light hits a historical low… but i feel bad since i won t be able to game any soon beside 2006ish games since my main PC fried and i ended up using my laptop

That was a reference to one of the game’s mechanics where everything that “IS MELT” basically dies when it comes in touch with something that is HOT. I guess “HOST IS MELT” would be appropriate, if you know what I mean…

@coralinecastell I like your taste in games. 
Even Beglitched is interesting - can’t stand Match 3 style usually. Heaven’s Vault is the way Archaelogy should be done, ha ha. Whispers of a Machine is already on wishlist. ^^

As for your own list:
Detention is an excellent game I think you’d really enjoy. I had a fun time playing it simultaneously with a friend, and was on the edge of my seat on a few occasions. The art is also gorgeous.
Armed with Wings was fun, back in the day. Not sure what to think of its Steam release, though.

tbh i’m not really excited about this steam sale
not because of them removing season event cards, or (supposedly) making a pay2win event “game”(will see what actually plays out tho, probably gonna be something alright)
but because this year i’ve probably played the least amount of games ever…
-while my backlog is already still ever growing, and despite having a bunch ready to go and installed
so i’m not really “planning” on buying anything specific this year, i’ll still check out the discounts etc, maybe see if i get some new discoveries/recommendations to add to my wishlist,
but kinda hoping i’m not gonna get tempted to buy much/“anything”, to just pile on the already huge backlog and filled up drive, at this point it’s almost just depressing with some some of these on my "to play"list…
suppose sale wise i’m mostly curious to see what (if any) steam is gonna attempt to handle the competition from Epic, if they are gonna do something special/different, than just the usual “event game” and mediocre discounts

We’re all curious about that. I dunno though, they have been doing the same thing over and over format wise. Why fix what ain’t broke? shrug We’ll see. Perhaps Epic’s antics don’t bother Steam at all really. No idea.
@coralinecastell Thanks for the kudos for Dentention. Think I’ll really like it too. There’s an Armed with Wings online, hopefully it’s an honest site, I don’t know anymore. It was fun to try out anyway… the art, oh the art. So yeah, the black and white love would definitely tempt me.
Like Gnuff said though, not excited and hope to mostly smile and nod at things, haha.

Yes, The Walking Dead: The Final Season was published by Skybound Games. That said, @AcornAvenger is lamenting the fact that the “final season of the Walking Dead” is currently an Epic Games Store exclusive.

These are my top priorities and I might pick them up whether they go on sale or not.
My secondary wishlist items are either Night in the Woods, Gris or Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove, depending on how much money I have left to spend.
I heard Monolith, Rain World and 7 Billion Humans are nice time wasters, but I don’t have plans on acquiring them…yet(who knows)
Huge backlogs are an actual concern of mine too. I have a fairly long list of games I bought(from the last summer sale even). I’ve been chipping away slowly through my library but new games just keep coming and I want to play them first lmao, and also college gets in the way so you can’t really binge a game 24/7.

My mind is pretty much set. 80-90% off stuff on my wishlist I might consider. If I don’t buy, it will probably get removed from my wishlist. After that, I will just look at daily deals.
Like @Gnuffi, I am also not very excited about what they had done to the sale event this year. I am not dumping money in just to get Steam meta-progression, that’s a certainty.

well i might not get Doom (2016) after all. wished it was 40%-50% off considering Doom Eternal is releasing this fall but its still 25% off.

kinda disappointed the pig was red… i wanted the real pig color, i mean the others match, why pig has to be red?
i’m highly prone to taking the pig, because, well, team red(again), and pig, duh…
but the lazy part of me also can’t sorta help thinking about at least attempting to “game” the system, by holding out for last moment, and then just join the winning team for that splendid profile trophy badge (in case there even is such this time like last race couple of years ago)…
we’ll see, lots of stuff to sort through, and i’m already exhausted/sleepy as is, picking sides seem like such a heavy task atm, even despite the easily available bacon option

it’s 75% off original msrp (about in line with the common Bethesda route), remember it has had 2 base price slashes, and when the (larger) publishers do that, usually “fixed” discounts usually get lower too, so overall it matches with their “large” discount of release price. Usually you have to look at 3rd party store for for better/“best” discounts on these sort of things, since the others often keep their usual steam discount %s during summer/winter sale the last couple of years
that said, 15bucks is totally not a bad thing for this game, even if not equal to a nice 50% discount for a round 10$
