Summary

To clear things up before I start:

No. I’m not interested in using Barter.vg or similar services at this current point in time.
All games are from Humble Bundle and will either be a gift link or a game key.

I have set things into Tiers. I did this because some games are worth a lot more than others both to people and monetarily. I’m not showing the convoluted back-end. The tiers are meant to be ambiguous. I’m sure people will figure it out, but I’m not going to say which is higher than the other.

I will consider offers across tiers, but be reasonable with your offers.
I may consider games not on the lists below.
Trading Cards or in-game items are not considered.

I was not going to make this post, as I don’t like being harsh, but I don’t see how your tiers are reasonable at all. One thing is being ambiguous, and other offering low value bundled games (except 3 or 4) and hoping to exchange them for games not bundled or high tier bundled games by putting it in your made tiers. No wonder you don’t like Barter.vg, they would know you are lowballing a lot.

In all your tiers, what you are offering is a lot less value than what you are asking. You are offering for example VVVVVV or Hacknet in a Pizza tier and want for them games like Children of Morta, Celeste or DORAEMON STORY OF SEASONS?

You want Atelier Ryza, Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove or Langrisser I & II from a Taco tier, all expensive and not bundled games and hoping to exchange it for games like Dead in Vinland and 11-11 Memories Retold, bundled two times. I suggest making your tiers reasonable to begin with.

The Point of how I organized the tiers was to be ambiguous. That’s because there is a lot of arbitrary decisions made on the back end that people may or may not agree with. So just like you are saying now, how X is too pricey for Y tier, I think if I specified exactly what each one meant people would simply look at that and not consider asking out the box.

That’s why I mentioned I would consider cross-tier. So if someone thought something was worth less or more they would hopefully know they could make an offer. I added to include list of things people had because I felt that this would enable better trades.

I tried to base my reasoning more on perceived value than actual value. That reason being that just because COD:WWII is $70 MSRP, doesn’t mean it’s worth $70 MSRP to people. I would say it’s worth a lot less. Whereas Hollow Knight ($15) is considered valuable. The exception to this rule was DLCs. I wanted to place them all in one particular tier. I understand that Civ VI DLCs were there and have since removed them because I was already on the fence about including them in the first place.

My want list is just about directly from my wishlists. I categorized as best I could and removed a couple that I would consider completely unreasonable to ask for (Like Temtem). I understand that I left some of the other very high priced ones in there that are still probably unreasonable. The major intent was to provide options since I’ve seen it asked more than once what people are interested in so others could determine if they had anything available to trade.

The reason why it probably looks like to you that I’m being unreasonable is because of the spread in each tier. It appears you have focused on what I would consider tier jumpers, in that their actual value is different than my perceived value. There are a few lower priced games that are included next to higher priced items. The split is barely in favor of the lower actual value items being valued higher than the other way around. Example: Battleblock Theater.

You mention X has been included in a bundle several times. I just recently started buying these bundles approximately 2 years ago max. I don’t go bundle hunting and keep track of how many times something has been bundled. I also don’t feel like spending 15minutes or more per game figuring out where and how many times it’s been bundled.

I’m not interested in trading sites because I’m not interested in Gems, Trading Cards, nor CS:GO keys and would rather trade with people in this community. It’s not because I’m a jackass and want to upsell things. I have all the MSRPs of the games on both sides of the aisle. I’m not going to think it’s fair that someone offer a $60 game that just came out for a $15 one.

I guess I tried to put it together so people had choices. If I failed at that, well that would add to the reasons why I’m not too interested in getting heavily into trading.

How did I go from 3 brackets to 4 tiers? That’s what the colors are. Green is up a tier (unless highest tier), yellow stays at the same tier, red drops a tier. I also placed some very low cost games into the lowest tier as they were in the range of $1-$2 for the game.

The color designates the overall “perceived value” of the game, green high, yellow mid, red low. On games that I knew little about, steam review score was used to determine value.
