I hope it’s like Borderlands where you can play the game on your own with an open world for you to explore. Otherwise I’m afraid it’s gonna turn itself into a casino like Genshin Impact and other P2W games.
Speaking of Ashens I got another good video from him:
I love The Office (I REALLY love The Office) and I love Final Fantasy. What better way to enjoy the two than to watch hilarious joke videos about them…combined?
A deep story about the precursor to the likes of Daikatana, Duke Nukem Forever, No Man’s Sky, Cyberpunk 2077, Outriders, Mighty No.9, Biomutant and other overhyped games which promised a lot and gave so little in return.
It’s pretty funny that throughout gaming history, even pre Rise of the Robots, the big name publications usually have issues with dishonest reviews and not so great journalism in general. That’s not to suggest they are purely awful: their expose articles about a game company’s poor treatment of workers are usually a tier above their otherwise meh output, albeit painting a pretty crappy picture about the gaming industry as a whole. I’m not as pessimistic about places like Polygon or Kotaku like others, but we can’t deny that they are very divisive, if not hated, in the community/
