Games at E3 2017

All that needs to be said is that Crackdown 3 is here. Finally.

They dedicated an entire minute of their E3 trailer to Terry Crews yelling at the camera. That’s a m!@#%@#%^(*ing preorder.

Also, I might actually buy an XbO with the announcement of Xbox backwards compatibility. Being able to finally play original Xbox games on a new console, something the 360 failed miserably yet, is awesome in every way, and enough of my Xb360 games have been added to justify the upgrade.

To be fair, you could only get the really good weapons from quest chains and completing collections in the old AC games, the purchasable weapons weren’t very good

Still hoping for that Terry Crews Doomfist appearance, but man Xbox hasn’t done much to convince me to come back to it, the only reason i still have one is for halo 6. Honestly at this point sony has more interesting exclusives with Persona 5 and Bloodbourne now that scalebound is being cancelled.

I know that, I’ve played every main one until Black Flag. Tons of hours in those games, 100% completion in all, just not multiplayer, zero interest in that. That’s why I’m saying there won’t be anything new, they’ve been there for too long. Every year perhaps?

Ezio trilogy was my favorite, but I do like ma boii Altaïr. What I liked about AC3? Bows, I’m an archery dude. And Black Flag is indeed just a pirate sim with Assassins in it, I like pirates and I like the AC series, so win-win.

Latest ones haven’t impressed me much, but I will play them at some point. And now the Egypt one, I still have to watch Ubisoft’s presentation to get more info on that.

Well, I don’t have my original Xbox but still have a lot of games for it, so this is kind of a gamechanger for me. That, and I’ve had good experiences with Xbox Live while my PSN experience has been absolutely horrible in every regard. That’s kind of where I stand on it, anyway.

Regardless, Microsoft is still releasing Sea of Thieves and Crackdown for Windows 10, and that’s all that matters.

Yes, MSFT is releasing a lot for Windows 10, but I swear if I have to use their store for any purchases I’m going to BabyRage harder than a blonde having to pay for her own drinks. I’ve been burned on Rise of the Tomb Raider, Quantum Break, Ori and the Blind Forest, Gears of War 4, and others that I was supposed to be able to buy with my Xbox Live/Microsoft account (joint) and play on either Xbox or PC but have run into hassles since the debut of the “seamless cross-platforming” a few years ago.

I’ve either had to ultimately refund the purchases, resigned myself to buying 2 copies (1 console, 1 PC), or neglected the game entirely and just not played it after failing to get things working (Gears of War, RIP). Had to play Ori on my brother’s Xbox, repurchased Tomb Raider/Quantum Break on Steam when they finally came out months after console release…things like that give me little faith in their “shared experience storefront” BS.
