TTD was a really great game in the 90’s and from what i understand this version is supposed to be really good. It is however one of those games where, if you’re into it, you start playing and suddenly a week has gone by. Never been a better time to play one these games.

Still is, I’d say it’s the best transportation management game ever created and nothing newer has been made that beats it. Open TTD does have many improvements on the original game, but it’s still very much Transport Tycoon. I was mostly just surprised to see it on steam now since last time I played it I believe it still required the original game’s data files.

Did a search on here for Neverball. I always have to have this on my PC besides Plasma Pong. It’s a great timewaster. Also included is Neverputt, a hot-seat multiplayer miniature golf game using the physics and graphics of Neverball. Finally, you can even make your own levels with a Level Maker.

I don’t know if it counts, but I really like playing Final Fantasy Brave Exvius: War of the Visions. It’s a mobile FFT styled game set within the BE:FF universe. I really don’t like the paying aspect, but the tactical game mechanics and story are very fun.
Another good free-to-play is Vigor on Switch/console, or the mobile Elder Scrolls title.

Unfortunately, Tales of Androgyny requires OpenGL 2.0. Even my POTATO PC is too dated for what looks like a game that could of come out back when Bejeweled Twist did.

Have you tried installing Mesa3D ?
If your system does not contain a GPU, or the GPU vendor delivers graphics drivers providing OpenGL support that’s so old as to be useless to you, you might want to consider installing the Mesa3D OpenGL library on your system. See this wiki link for details:
If you still can’t play Tales of Androgyny you may want to try Halo Zero and the games @delenn13 suggested.
