This one is a really old racing game but I’ve had lots of fun playing it in the past - Tile Racer - News
Its name is Tile Racer, and you can create your own tracks and share with other people. It’ll probably run even on the weakest systems. More info below:
System Requirements
Minimum: CPU: 1200MHz or higher, 512 MB RAM, 100 MB free disk space, 3D Hardware Accelerator Card: 64 MB.
Recommended: 3D Hardware Accelerator Card: 256 MB.
Tile Racer:
Menus load. Game itself: Crash on race startup.
TORCS: I kinda wish I knew how to make more advanced courses with the track editor (hills, loops, etcetera), but there’s no extra documentation on any of that, nor on some of the other executables it comes with (nfs2ac.exe), so yeah…it’s still fun, if a bit frustrating at times…
Oh, ok. Maybe you should try running it in compatibility mode (XP or 7 should work, I think).
I found this tutorial online - TORCS Track Tutorial
However I suggest playing around with the editor and figuring things out, I guess.
Anyway, I’m glad you liking from it so far.
Here’s a fun little puzzle game from David Brevick, one of the original creators of Diablo among many other games. It’s free to download directly from his website. Apparently he created this in about 30 min on a stream a few years ago. Shows how skilled he is as a program to do something that quickly. Certainly not a crazy graphics/mechanics game, but still.
Either way thought I would share for people who like puzzle games like this. Really makes you think. The difficulty ramps up pretty quickly so it’s certainly not for everyone.
