I remember the cutscenes in these games as cool and scary in 94(?).
The games were also tense and scary. They don’t look particulary good by todays standards, and i think it’s tank control. But might be worth giving a go.

The camera alone will scare the mew out of ya. Blink. Happy to have the trilogy. I think the worse game in the series, I’ve got on Steam.

Yeah, it uses a control scheme which Capcom and other companies would copy to their survival horror games back in the 90’s: Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Dino Crisis, Countdown Vampires, Galerians, Parasite Eve 2, Devilman and so on.
Just don’t play it for too long on a controller or your hands will start to hurt.
