yes, the ninjas are bots, which are automated and waiting 24 hours a day looking for these kinds of posts. The best way to avoid them is to do either PM’s here or Steam Chats with folks (once they express interest in a title here). Those conversations are private and thus unavailable to bots.

first of all, if they were bots, they would take ALL the keys, and we’ve seen over and over again that that is not the case
secondly, last time i made riddles that simple bots like this would not be able to solve, and i personally believe the bots that just can grab keys would not be able to solve these either; there would still need to be human interaction
I also dont believe the bot would be able to activate the key on GOG either btw; pretty sure that would require human interaction too, cuz dont forget that even if a million bots grab these keys, they still need to be activated…
so, no, these are ninjas, yes, but not bots
I’m also getting tired of receiving these comments over and over. I’m super, super busy, and it’s already quite annoying for me to take the time to grab the keys from Twitch and then post them here, and I could literally just not do that cuz why would i care if my keys im not going to use go to waste? The only reason i put them here is cuz i like this community and like the idea of benefitting someone this way. So i do take the time to do it. But im not going to put in the additional time to chat back and forth and look for who wants what key and what not.
i work 2 jobs, try to stream and upload to youtube, raise 11 kids, one of whom is a baby, and then have another load of irl shit i need to deal with
im tired of getting these remarks over and over, so pls, either b happy for the ninjas that at least they’ll benefit from the keys, as i am, or be pissed with them, i dont care, but pls stop complaining that i should spend more of my time on giving these keys away here

No worries. I wasn’t complaining at all, just trying to be helpful. In fact, I appreciate you a lot. I already assumed being busy was the reason for this style of giveaway, and it is legitimate.
Of course, it makes me sad to think that someone (especially if they are within this community) is taking keys without thanking or even commenting.

I always get a laugh out of comments roasting the ninjas. Thanks for posting these @M00. I get what you mean. I could given some GOG ones too, but going through wishlists like ours, for instance is a pain. Once I get my chair fixed I’d happily enjoy making a wacky GA, but for now I’m on the floor with the laptop,

But yeah, I’d be also annoyed with people doing things like this, which’s why I do like @Sortskjegg would do.
But I undestand @M00 We all have a bad day sometimes, and we can become so busy that everything annoys us. I think that a good solution would go back to giving keys through your streams, so you unite the best of both worlds.

In the past we had a few people hand keys to a Chrono moderator or a thrustworthy member to handle the giveaways and that worked pretty well too.
Nice that they have Baldur’s Gate in there, I wanted to try those games but since BG3’s success they hiked the price of those here. Ninjas too fast for 'ol sloth

It was difficult though. I had to do the capcha more than 10 times before it went through.
I tried the others just for fun. Lots more capchas. But they were all taken. Edit: When I put in the code, it asks me if I want to redeem it. So I can check if the code is available without redeeming the code. Unlike steam!
