TB as mentioned by many. Although hes a bit weird for some people’s tastes(lets call it British humor) he has always been pointing out the good/bad things about video games. It’s necessary for a reviewer to have good taste in video games and he does. I also love the way he responds to shitters of all kinds.

Ross Scot, the weird guy (He usually is kinda boring and spends his time on shitty video games but when he decides to talk about anything relatively interesting he scores some points) Maybe hes more of a machinima guy and i dont like this kind of stuff tbh https://goo.gl/QPnkDE

Also even though im not a subscriber because im not interested at all in their regular stuff. I will also point out Jim Sterling https://goo.gl/wGYxZk because if it so happens and i want a review of some new video game (which i regularly dont because i hate new video games for the most part) he does a pretty good job at it. And then there is Dodger whos content is everything i could ever hate (Anime, anime news, anime games, visual novels, nintendo related stuff etc) BUT when she plays literally anything else shes fun to watch or listen to and she also does great job at VA when she plays games without their own VA and for that reason i check her only on twitch from time to time Heres the yt link though as requested goo.gl/LhUQHR. (New users can only post 2 links sonofab…what is this)

Most people mentioned here in this thread are pretty bad though. Just watch TB

Interestingly, I don’t like TB! No specific reason, though.

My favorites are, of which several have already been mentioned:
LazyGameReviews: Cool retro games, very nice overview of them and nicely calm attitude.
Gggmanlives: Very prolific, nicely objective and diplomatic views on the games and also somewhat focused on retro games.
Super Bunnyhop: Not just reviews but also more general gaming topics, always very well researched, mostly quite intelligent criticism.
ICARUSLIV3S: Makes the excellent “Doom Mod Madness”, a series which covers mod after mod for Doom and Doom only, despite the odd review of different games. Very fun if you like the game!
RetroAhoy series by “Ahoy”: Extremely well produced and well researched retrospectives of several gaming series. Also has other series with equal production values on more general gaming topics. And an extensive series about what seems like every single iconic real word weapon featured in games. Huh.
Cool Ghosts: Just watch this video why Devil Daggers is “the best game ever”: click They got several other “best game ever” videos, I love it.
Worth A Buy: An angry guy called Mack who hates mainstream games and never gets tired of complaining about games made for consoles as well as “x-ray vision”, still telling you if a game is worth it or not. I can’t say I like him. But, I guess I kinda do. Entertaining.
And, of course, Ross’s Game Dungeon!

Phew, these turned out to be more than I expected myself. Somehow YouTube grew on me this past year. By the way, anyone interested in N64 games? N64 Gleen Plant! Now I’m done.

[edit]
Nope. Forgot noclip, an ongoing series of very well produced “crowdfunded video game documentaries”. Very personal making-of documentaries of Doom 2016, Spelunky, The Witness, Rocket League and more. Highly recommended.

I’m gonna recommend some Youtubers with great and interesting content that nobody mentioned yet.

EmceeProphIt (https://www.youtube.com/user/EmceeProphIt/videos?&ytbChannel=EmceeProphIt)
Videos about symbolism in games and their meanings.

TheGamingBritShow (https://www.youtube.com/user/TheGamingBritShow/videos?&ytbChannel=TheGamingBritShow)
Most of his content is hack’n’slash related and that’s why I like it. His other videos are interesting to.

minimme (https://www.youtube.com/user/minimme123/videos?ytbChannel=minimme)
His videos are pretty interesting but he unlisted some of his videos because he sort of ‘rebooted’ his channel almost a year ago.

Shesez (https://www.youtube.com/user/PencakeAndWuffle/videos?&ytbChannel=Shesez)
From old to new games,he hacks the camera and moves it around to see what we are not supossed to see in the game.

snomaN Gaming (https://www.youtube.com/user/snomangaming/videos?&ytbChannel=snomaN%20Gaming)
Videos about game design and other interesting videogame related videos.

The Geek Critique (https://www.youtube.com/user/TGCritique/videos?&ytbChannel=The%20Geek%20Critique)
Awesome reviews. He recently covered all 2d Metroid games and his going to cover the Prime games as well.

Writing on Games (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPlWv88ZRMxCcK3BGjrX7ew/videos?&ytbChannel=Writing%20on%20Games)
Really interesting videos about game related topics.

toco toco tv (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3zoY9LapZERsN7caDKqz0w/videos?&ytbChannel=toco%20toco%20tv)
Interviews with Japanese people who are all sort of things like mangaka, composers, producers, game directors, etc. Not really game related but the interviews are really good and they help you understand better the works of Goichi Suda (No More Heroes, Killer7, The Silver Case), Yoko Taro (Drakengard, Nier), Swery65 (Deadly Premonition, D4) and the directors of more mainstream games such as Guilty Gear, Persona 5 or Gravity Rush.

As far as reviews I only watch LGR and some others that occasionally post reviews. I still follow TB but only for the podcast.
I personally don’t care much about what some big personality has to say about a popular game anymore. I do like people that lift up retro stuff that I’ve never even heard of though.
