EA Play now available on Steam

Seems like a really good deal if you are into EA games.:yum:

The only issue I have is that if you wanted to have access on both Steam and Xbox, from what I can ascertain, it would require two separate payments rather than combining them into a cross-platform access point (if they can do that for gameplay such can be done for this).

I mean, that’s ~$100 a year for access on Steam, PSN and Xbox…

This part confused me:

Play select new-release EA games for up to 10 hours.

So I take it that that the games that were in Basic Vault before, you can still play for the month - the entire month. That 10 hours thing shook me.

Doesn’t seem terrible really. I’ve always enjoyed need for speed and some of the older battlefield games. Not to mention they’ve got the old mirror’s edge on there. Still love that game.

If it’s out of the vault, you can’t play it anymore. The 10 hours is for new releases which you need to purchase after 10 hours.
