For me it’s Hizashi no Naka no Real … ( don’t google it you perv ).
Not long after I came into existence, my parents bought an Atari 2600 (for themselves). I was very little at the time (like ~3 years old), but the one game that I have vivid memories of playing (or trying to play) is:
Smurf: Rescue In Gargamel’s Castle
My first real gaming memories are, however, with the NES. I initially got four games with my NES console: Super Mario Bros., Duck Hunt, Gyromite (it was the system that included R.O.B. the robot), and…
Like many kids from my generation, I was obsessed with The Karate Kid (the original one, you know, with Ralph Macchio and Pat Morita - R.I.P.), so naturally this was the first game I played (and beat, btw ).
Oh holy chuff, a quick google and I’ve found that you can play the game I posted about online right in your browser!
Holy crap I remember playing this (or a clone of it) on my old ipod with a wheel! Great memories
My first console game was Duck Hunt.
Eustice voice, “Stupid dog.”
First computer game was Oregon Trail or Sim City 2000…not sure which as my school had both.
First computer game not in school was Fable: The Lost Chapters.
the best game ever played today
So my earliest memory is Galaxian which I played on the family Atari VCS(2600). I was 4 maybe five? We still had the box for Galaxian I remember looking at it all the time, back when box art was art and never a clear representation of what you were getting yourself into.
It was combat on the Atari 2600.
the very first sanic game came out in 1991, three years before I was born…
so, obviously when I was born sanic 3 was out.
so, like nowadays. I am years behind and got that as my first game xD sanic 1. and as proof nowadays am got gud at them.
the next one I remember was a weird racing game for sega saturn, I never remembered what it was called but it had guns and shit and remember my mind exploding because of how cool it was xD
next was tom and Jerry on gameboy.
The Windows Pinball game on Windows 98…
Roller coaster tycoon 1, I don’t think I played a different game until 5 years later, God that game was great.
The first “game” I remember playing was Adibou. French people will know what this is.
I believe it was Combat for Atari. I was real young, three or four, and I’d play against my sister, who was two years older. The game was mostly smacking against walls and spinning around, failing to orient ourselves. Eventually, my sister would get enough bearing to get near me, aim in my direction, and riddle me with bullets.
It didn’t bother me because, really, I didn’t understand how to properly play any of those Atari games. Only my brother was old enough to really understand what the goals were, but they were still fun to muck about in.
Got some fond memories of that one. I remember when my coaster broke and started catching fire. Several people died. Being 9 or 10 years old at the time I had the time of my life.
Pong on the Atari 2600, followed by Pitfall.
Ye gads, I’m old!
I remember a weird black and white game involving a zebra, but the first game I can ACTUALLY remember was sonic 2, played it with my mum and we played for so long the Megadrive burnt out xD
When I was three, I used to stay up until 2 or 3 am watching my dad play Warcraft while sitting on his lap. A year later, I played my first game
My little baby sits on my lap and plays Goat Simulator and Rocket League. I can’t wait for him to play the first game I make.
My first game was probably Pokémon Ruby.
