If you don’t have time to watch a movie, I have a short CGI scary video. I started from the fun part. But you can click on the beginning if you like.
Dang. They got super jumped. I bet the next monster will be better too - live and learn.
I hope this helps @Danacscott life to be less shitty. Nothing like finding refuge in art to forget some of your troubles.
Life isn’t bad. Sh1ty people makes basic things difficult. Thanks ![]()
I’m throwing out stuff - less I have, easier leaving will be. Have to keep dreaming of living alone.
I really enjoyed the first two Dune movies. Nice mix of practical and CGI that you rarely see. I think what made it all look good is there was always a physical bridge to the CGI. E.g. When riding the sandworms, there was a physical “chunk” of sandworm rigged up on hydraulic movers in front of huge fans blowing sand at the actors. Similarly, they had a physical ornithopter fuselage so everything the actors touched was real. Stuff like that makes a difference.
I thought the first movie would have been, but I think it was too much talking, too little sandwormies?
These may be AI stories and is definitely AI video. But this is the only channel where I am OK with it. Check out the other videos if you also like interesting world building ideas.
Thanks @BlivetWidget and @GDBringer
