Personally i have been here well before this coin system started (actually right near the inception of the site) and I am sure some others here have been as well. I do admit though that this coin system brought a lot of new people in.
If the problem is they are not interesting to you, you’re the problem not the system (please don’t take this as me being harsh but I mean that it is your personal taste that is causing you to dislike the current state of the system, hence why people are calling you entitled. From what you have been saying in previous posts you would not have this issue if a game had come up that you had liked in any of the previous batch of games).
To be honest looking at it from their perspectives no. These game codes don’t just grow on trees. They are doing one of two things
Buying a bulk set of codes and distributing them to us (basically taking a loss on these codes to try and make a profit by getting people looking at the font page deal and buying it)
Asking developers to give them a batch of free codes which is hard as they are using the goodwill they have with the devs to get something free. And goodwill only goes so far.
So to get more keys more often would be hard for them or they would be taking a greater loss in profit.
So for you (and the rest of the community) it would be better but for them it would not.
That my friend means you need to work on something called patience (again saying this sort of thing kinda just makes you sound entitled).
I hope you don’t take offence to what I am saying, I thought I would just lay out my thoughts.
I meant from the point of view of the customers. And let me remind you that this coin system is what made me buy things in the first place, and I’m sure I’m not the only one, so while it still is a free giveaway, it makes them some money.
I don’t care if you think it makes me sound entitled, the point is that many people would be pleased if it was more frequent, thus might bring more people in on top of keeping them on the site.
As for the two methods you pointed out, I’ve already done so before. That’s not an issue -as I said, they can put more frequency on the shop while keeping the overall game stock the same.
AKA no actual change in amount of game keys demanded.
Stay cool everybody. Remember MyNintendo and how “great” that “loyalty” program is. But I am glad the coin shop is constantly being refined to get a better rhythm/flow of games so it doesn’t bottom out so quickly.
I’m with you Zero. I did buy stuff because of the daily login, and i think it is a good idea for chrono to have this system.
But thus far it feels a bit underwhelming to me. One option for the hole next week? I mean, i really don’t expect the most incredible games as a free option, but maybe some diversity to choose from. I do think that would be awesome.
