It’s kind of an odd promotion but if you use your VISA card and spend $25 US or whatever is considered equivalent for your region, and save your VISA info for future purchases, you get a free copy of Children of Morta for GOG.
Found the amounts in various countries in terms of needed to spend:
Really cool! Y’all gotta take advantage of this.
Interesting to see that GOG is sending out so many copies of this game for free recently.
They actually just finished a campaign of free CofM to eligible participants for their client beta test in China.
I’m going to completely skip the rant about Visa’s lackluster practices, among other sketchy things Visa has done in the past; it’s not relevant, but what is, is that this is to me, a paywall made of punji spikes.
There’s a thread about this on GOG’s forum and someone said that adding funds to the wallet counts as well (link)
Just a heads up, you don’t receive the key immediately. Going by the T&Cs of this promotion, the key is given within 14 days.
This promotion is still going and now people are receiving their keys faster than before: maximum of a week now, compared to the 14 days previously.
