Every day I claim the free ebook that PacktPub offers and now they have added a captcha and that got me thinking if there is any protection on Chrono.gg against bots.
I mean, it is too easy to make a bot that logs in and claims the daily reward, or I’m wrong?
PS: yes, I know that a captcha is annoying but that is better than having bots claiming keys (or any other reward), I think.
We employ a variety of methods to catch bots and people trying to exploit the system, but the methods are generally transparent to the end user. That being said, it’s not 100% perfect, but we’re working on a system that should be pretty close to that that we’ll hopefully be rolling out in the next couple months.
