I produce dubstep and other EDM genres on FL Studio 12, anyone else share the same hobby? I love making music and then listening to it while playing games. Thanks! Btw how do you master your tracks? Specifically the latest one? The high end sounds so clean, which is unusual on soundcloud cause it always clips it for my tracks.

Hello there! What you have done so far is awesome :smiley: I started “producing music” just a few months ago (in FL Studio) and making electronic-ish subgenres, but ironically I don’t really listen to these genres. But as far as I can see, you really know what you are doing :slight_smile: , so keep up the good work :smile:

nice tune dude! I really like the old school, but fresh vibe it has… It’s not easy to rock a dry 808 kit like that, good job.
@SwordSlice73 for my master I use a lot of different chains, it always depends on what I’m after. The most important thing for a master is to start from a good mix, focus on that first. A good maximizer/limiter is important also. I suggest you try izotope’s maximizer, It’s amazing how that plugin can maintein dynamics with loudness levels that high (new ways goes all the way up to -1dbRMS)

Dang dude, your mixes are solid! I use Izotope Ozone 7’s Maximizer too, but whenever I play my track it sounds squashed as hell. I’m struggling to make my track loud without squashing it to bits. I usually maximize it to -0.3dbfs.

I’ve been trying to use FL as I really want to start making EDM and stuff but nothing I make sounds very good :frowning: I understand the basics of FL but a lot of it is a mystery to me.
