I produce dubstep and other EDM genres on FL Studio 12, anyone else share the same hobby? I love making music and then listening to it while playing games. Same here. You’re tracks are not bad dude, keep it up and try to work on sound design/composition a bit more! Focus on fewer elements, “less notes” and more on the mood, energy of the track. Here’s my sc Stream Magma Kum music | Listen to songs, albums, playlists for free on SoundCloud
Thanks! Btw how do you master your tracks? Specifically the latest one? The high end sounds so clean, which is unusual on soundcloud cause it always clips it for my tracks.
Hey! I’m also a producer here and I gotta say ur tracks are hardcore my friend. I don’t think I’ve done anything dubstep-really related, but I’ll link my soundcloud anyway Also, @MagmaKum, your sound design is awesome! (especially new ways) Cool to see other producers on here always looking to make new friends and collaborations
Whooaaa that track you linked is trippy af! I love it! I don’t even know what that genre is but good job
@SwordSlice73 Thanks! Maybe like… experimental… trap kind of… breakbeat-ish… experimental? Yeah why not just experimental. I’m working on some new tracks at the moment too for a new ep. Maybe we can collab or something
Hello there! What you have done so far is awesome I started “producing music” just a few months ago (in FL Studio) and making electronic-ish subgenres, but ironically I don’t really listen to these genres. But as far as I can see, you really know what you are doing , so keep up the good work
This is my soundcloud, any feedback is appreciated: Stream RWAY music | Listen to songs, albums, playlists for free on SoundCloud
Yeah I’ll hit you up on Soundcloud
nice tune dude! I really like the old school, but fresh vibe it has… It’s not easy to rock a dry 808 kit like that, good job.
@SwordSlice73 for my master I use a lot of different chains, it always depends on what I’m after. The most important thing for a master is to start from a good mix, focus on that first. A good maximizer/limiter is important also. I suggest you try izotope’s maximizer, It’s amazing how that plugin can maintein dynamics with loudness levels that high (new ways goes all the way up to -1dbRMS)
for someone who started just a few months ago, you’re doing pretty damn good! keep it up dude, just have fun making music
Dang dude, your mixes are solid! I use Izotope Ozone 7’s Maximizer too, but whenever I play my track it sounds squashed as hell. I’m struggling to make my track loud without squashing it to bits. I usually maximize it to -0.3dbfs.
I’ve been trying to use FL as I really want to start making EDM and stuff but nothing I make sounds very good I understand the basics of FL but a lot of it is a mystery to me.
