so west from canyon view should be clearing, not forest, again west should be behind house view, not forest, and again west should be south of house, where i came from
this is not doable when west to east is not the exact opposite of east to west WTF

I went 3 times east, so if i go 3 west i should go back exactly where i came from, no?

I think you need to enter the forest first, like all time, and once you are in the forest you have acces to the forest paths and all.
If you are in the Clearing, east Canyon but west is the forest Like, you need to go North on the forest path to get to the Clearing again.

The issue you’re having is the forest. If you haven’t realised it’s possible to get turned around. Your best bet is, rather than rushing, to do what CoralineCastell suggested earlier and use the look command excessively.

y but i dont think this makes any sense rly, if i went from the clearing west to the canyon, for example, then how cant i go from the canyon east to the clearing??? that’s not how life works, nor video games

Think of it as a whole separate area, west of the house is the forest, but if you go south the path is the north of the house.
The forest is everywhere but once you are in it It has a different mapping.
Also really shouldn’t be doing this hahaha I’ll check back later
