To be fair to Bryan, having a separate manual save is beneficial if multiple people want to have their own play-through on that same copy of the game, since the autosave would be overwritten by another campaign.

Or if it only autosaves at specific times or places. What if I need to get off earlier. I view autosaves as a contingency plan. AKA so I don’t lose a lot of progress of the power goes out or something.
