I think that from a financial perspective this is a stroke of genius, to combine this brand and this type of game (mmo) with this platform; i truly believe this will become one of their biggest money-making products. (Even if Blizzard fanboys might boycott it, it will bring in a WHOLE world of “casuals” [or whatever u want to call them] into the Blizzard market)
also, ppl need to chill and realize that Diablo Immortal obviously isn’t called “Diablo 4”, so they can probably expect Diablo 4 to be announced for pc at a later date
What you’re maybe not realizing here though is that those people paid $200 just to gain entrance to that hall, several more hundreds for travel and lodging. Spurred on to go there with the suggestion that this was “the year of diablo” and promised great new reveals. The final hour comes, this is going to be the big one! We’re all gathered here at the greatest stage they have and it’s finally time to see the big promised reveal!

Yeah sure, but Overwatch isn’t really supposed to be historically accurate. They should just worry about creating creatively fulfilling heroes and don’t be to scared about whether fans find them politically correct or not.
You are most definitely right, there’s money destined in Diablo being on mobile. That’s the reason why they even do this. It’s also an absolutely horrendous idea in general ending your conference on a mainstay titles next iteration being a mobile exclusive.
There’s also the fact that one of the developers of Diablo Immortal’s previous title(Crusaders of Light) looks suspiciously like an Diablo ripoff.
i would have said sometime more brutal like ‘good joke… you really want a mobile game ported on pc, your gaming standard are that low? think about it that way, at least you will get something to do when your mom kick you out to play outside’
I like how this went from a nice little conversation just about our favourite gaming characters and then all of a sudden its all about how bad Diablo Mobile is.
the problem with mobile diablo is that they gave the license to a company that makes ripoff for mobile, they gonna slap diablo asset on their already existing ripoff and make money out of it. if it was a legit company i wouldn’t mind but the message it send is "it’s ok to rip off games, you might even get the license for the game you ripped’.
