Waiting for Terraria to appear on Connect. If that ever happens, it’ll be awesome. Still don’t have any of these, but always surprises what games they put on Connect. You look at places like Origin that mostly gave away terrible, old games. lol
hmm that’s so weird, i get that strange thing where it already registers i own Syberia, but not Hard West so i can’t claim it, dang it GoG make the refresh button work
Try to refresh the Connect Cache with the button on the page, if that fails, clear cache of the current browser and if that fails, try a new browser like Vivaldi (any new browser). I’ve had this problem before, usually it was resolved by a refresh (which takes a few hours to actually refresh).
Yeah, this is the first failure I have encountered too… Only other time was I bought a game on Steam during a sale, and it didn’t register during the GOG Connect time frame.
EDIT:
Just showed up, who knows what made any difference. I didn’t even refresh, just went back to the page again…
naa @Rhyagelle is spot on, it’s a simple update issue with GoG, and all one can do is wait until it updates “proper” and registers
only thing that makes it strange is when X games are read as owned but some in the same batch aren’t. Guessing it would be something about the way they go about inputting the titles, like maybe some gets inputted later/slower a few minutes after a prior update point, rather than waiting until all are entered and then do the update
(example i did refresh but still had to wait for it register mine -and ofc not the first time, browser or not)
because otherwise you would have to buy them again on gog???
i’m “told” some people might have begun to want their games “more” on GoG than steam, and since no one is obligated to provide you a “backup”/replacement copy on their platform, or even provide you drm free copies of steamworks(drm) games you own
-then it makes it a free copy for those
if someone doesn’t give a tooting fly about where their games are, then ofc this matters little, as it’s just one more “backup” places to have your games stored
-but even then some like that option
