I could be wrong, but I got the impression that @yoshirules actually bought a copy of Mini Metro to gift to a fellow community member who missed out - which is even more commendable than just giving away an excess key.

Because we don’t want to enter for games we have no interest in playing. Why enter for something you don’t want? I would highly encourage everyone to only enter for games they are actually interested in and leave the chances greater for someone else to get that enjoyment.

This! People are giving away games due to their generosity and good nature, entering for something simply because its there to get for free is not in the spirit of the giveaway.

Official giveaways? What official giveaways? Other than the secrets page stuff there have not been any official giveaways of games thus far that I can remember.

lol this is a raffle, and this is the world wide web.
well because we can give it to some friends on their birthdays for spare keys, after asking and knowing for sure they’ll like those games compared to a “total randomizer” - which u never know.
who knows the person you’re giving to might be a level 100 steam account. you never know maybe some who cant afford might enjoy the game more. if you want to be on that level, raffle is always risky.

with many spare keys i get, i share with others among my friends or i have “do not laugh challenges” among my friends and give them game keys whoever won. or many other silly games, on discord
